Careers with Cinotti’s FAQ

How much to you pay per hour?

While we’re happy to discuss individual salaries with each potential employee, we strive to keep our pay rates above industry standards for each job type and experience level.

What benefits do you offer?

Employees who’ve passed their probationary period have the opportunity to enroll in a comprehensive health care plan and a retirement program.

What hours will I work?

We have several desirable shifts available that work with our business needs and your preferred schedule.

Our earliest risers begin the before the sun comes up, but delight in the idea of leaving work with a full afternoon still ahead of them.

We have late morning risers who have the opportunity to take their children to school before coming to work and love that they can make it home before the sun goes down.

Our shifts do not fluctuate from week to week. This allows more freedom for our team members to plan activities outside of work without worrying if they will be scheduled to work or not.

Do I need Food Service Certifications?

While being ServSafe certified is certainly a plus, it is not a requirement for initial employment consideration.

Will I get to decorate a cake?

We love to have passionate members on our team who want to showcase their talent. Before we promote a potential decorator, they must spend a minimum of six months learning product, procedures, and standards through front counter service.

What exactly does a front counter associate do?

Our front counter associates give customers their first glimpse into the amazing world of the bakery. Their warm smiles and friendly attitudes can be the very reason customers return time and again.

Front counter associates are responsible for:

  • greeting in-store customers and offering friendly service
  • answering questions in an honest and timely manner
  • finishing pastries and other baked goods
  • keeping the showcases full and neat throughout their shift
  • studying product guides to become knowledgeable in all areas of the bakery
  • keeping up with Cinotti’s Bakery’s standards including personal interactions, dress code, and hygiene requirements
