Cabernet Franc came to Friuli Venezia Giulia about the time of Napoleon so it has been there with Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc for hundreds of years. Cabernet Franc has a chance to be wonderfully herbaceous, have delicate tannins and to be an incredibly complex red wine.

Lodali Barbera d’Alba is a full-bodied, ruby-red Italian wine from Piedmont featuring intense aromas of plum, violet, and sweet spices. Renato Ratti Marcenasco Barolo is a highly regarded, elegant, and classic La Morra Barolo, known for its silky tannins, approachability, and notes of red berries, rose petals, licorice, and spice. It typically offers a medium-bodied, aromatic experience with a long, savory finish, suitable for aging from 10–20+ years. Ideal with roasted red meats, grilled meats, game, and aged cheeses.

Rivetto Barbaresco is a highly structured, organic Nebbiolo, characterized by intense aromas of pressed rose, wild berries, licorice, and tea leaves. It offers a complex, elegant profile with firm tannins, high acidity, and notes of cherry, truffle, and tobacco, generally needing time to evolve but presenting great aging potential. Pairs well with roast veal, wild game, braised beef, or grilled lamb as well as truffle-based risotto, pasta with rich meat sauces, and aged cheeses

Rivetto Barolo is characterized by its elegant, structured, and biodynamic approach, offering complex aromas of wild cherries, rose petals, licorice, and tobacco. It is known for a harmonious balance of firm, velvety tannins, bright acidity, and a long, savory finish. Ideal with rich, fatty foods to match the tannins: roasted red meats, truffles, and aged cheeses. Recommended to open or decant for at least 2 hours prior to drinking to allow the aromas to open.

Puglia Regional Wines

Teanum Otre Primitivo is a rich, full-bodied red wine known for its deep color and intense flavors of ripe plum, red berries, and fig jam, balanced with spicy notes of vanilla, cocoa, and cloves. It offers a warm, soft mouthfeel with polished tannins and a high-alcohol profile, often around 14.5-15%. This wine pairs exceptionally well with robust dishes such as hearty eggplant, mushroom and walnut bolognese, or red meats.

A Super Tuscan with great personality and elegance. An intense red color, with olfactory sensations of leather and tobacco. The flavor, of extraordinary structure, is harmonious and surprisingly soft. Its name, Borgonero, recalls an ancient agricultural settlement in the Borgo Scopeto area.

Umbria Regional Wines

Selva Volpina Pinot Grigio is a crisp, and dry white wine produced by Alibrianza in the Umbria region of Central Italy. It is known for its light, fruity, and aromatic profile, typically featuring notes of lemon and lime, making it an excellent pairing for fish, seafood, and light starters.
